One of my favorite scenes is when the party first learns to cook a giant scorpion. Senshi guides them through the process, and despite their initial skepticism, the result is a delicious meal that boosts their morale and strength. This scene perfectly encapsulates the series’ blend of danger, teamwork, and culinary creativity.
I also enjoyed any time I got to get a glimpse of the mad mage, who is the elusive antagonist of the Delicious in Dungeon anime series. The mad mage is the one responsible for making the monsters and has a mysterious backstory.
Coincidentally, Laios comes face to face with the mad mage when he jumps into a picture on a dungeon wall in search of food.

My favorite character in Delicious in Dungeon is Senshi. He’s a dwarf with tan skin, long curly black hair, and big round eyes, giving him a more cartoonish look compared to the rest of the group.
Senshi has a stocky build and a long ruffled beard, which Marcille helped clean. He rarely takes off his full-plated helmet, which has horns.
Senshi wears brown fluffed forearm guards, metal armor on his calves and hips, and sandals. Despite his rugged appearance, Senshi has a soft presence, and sees the dungeon as an ecosystem, caring for it by gardening and selling his produce. I also love SungWon Cho, who voices Senshi and I follow his work on YouTube and his role in “Blackberry.”
